FAQs

 Q: How do I order online?

A:  Sign into your account or create a new account. Add items to your cart until you are ready to check out. Click the "Proceed to checkout" button to complete your order. Enter your billing details, shipping details, and shipping method. Confirm your order and enter a purchase order number if you require one. Our site does not accept payment so we will bill you according to the terms we have on file for your company. You should receive an email confirmation of your order and that it has been sent to us. Once we have processed our order, you will receive an additional email that we have received and processed your order and that you can expect it to be shipped with in 1 or 2 business days. If an item is out of stock or there is a longer wait time for shipping, we will contact you with a new expected ship date.  

Q: How do I create an account? 

A:  Click “create an account”. Once you’ve registered, call us so we can turn on full access to all items/pricing and give you a quick demo f need help navigating the website. The site will show “real-time” pricing for reference and is also equipped with a shopping cart to accept orders. The checkout process will not accept direct payment but can accept a purchase order number if you require one. We will process the orders off-line based on the terms you already have established with us.

Q: Can I view this website remotely? 

A:   Yes. You can view and place orders from your smartphone or iPad. Our new website www.gatorproducts.com is optimized for both desktop and smartphone or iPad access.

Q: Can everyone order from this website? 

A:  No. You or your company must have terms already established with us in order to finish the registration process. If you do not have terms or previous history with us, then you must contact us first to verify if you or your company is eligible.

Q: What if I forget my password? 

A: Call our office at 888.247.8665 or 847-836-0583 during our normal business hours and we will be able to reset your password immediately. 

Q: Why can't I see any prices? 

A:   To view any pricing, you must be logged in. To login, you must register by creating an account. Once you’ve registered, call us so we can turn on full access to all items/pricing and give you a quick demo. Q: If placing an order, will payment have to be made at checkout?

Q: I'm logged in but can't find the model I'm looking for under the category "Repair Parts"? 

A:  Not all models are shown. In this category, we have all of our repair parts listed plus additional subcategories. These subcategories only feature the most popular models that we carry parts for. We are working on adding new breakdown sheets and parts. For best results, use our "Search" box in the upper left hand corner to find items either by GPI#, manufacturer's part#, or a keyword.

Q: Where can I find shielded (ZZ) or rubber sealed (2RS) Bearings?

A:  All of the Generic Bearings are listed as the standard generic base part number.  Each bearing base part number may have three different styles available: Open, Metal Shields (ZZ), or Rubber Sealed (2RS).  The price is the same for any style. When you view the item details, you will see that you must choose an option of one of the three styles before you can place the item on order.  You will also notice the product description shows the measurement of each style of that bearing. Please note that some bearings may not be available in all three styles.
